Our story...
In 2021, Dylan Allen, Eric & Victoria Archer, Jameel Archer and Pamela Perry each moved to Columbia, SC at separate promptings from God. Though their reasons for moving varied, they shared a desire to open a faith based coffee shop in downtown Columbia that would spread the love of Jesus through service, employment and community engagement. The five of them prayed and fasted about a location, full of faith that God would provide them a place to minister to the city of Columbia through coffee.
To their disappointment, they were denied their desired venue and was not able to raise the funds in the miraculous way they hoped. So after falling face down before God again, they felt they heard Him clearly say, "Build my church." So the five of them began holding worship services in their home and VIBEZ.Church was born.

Our MISSION...
We say that our mission is simply, LOVE. Jesus is quoted as saying, "By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another,” (John 13:35). So our mission is to make Jesus known through the love we share with our neighbors.
Our example for what this looks like is found in Matthew 25 where Jesus says, “‘For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat; I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink; I was a stranger and you took me in; I was naked and you clothed me; I was sick and you took care of me; I was in prison and you visited me.’

Our church is based solely on the description the first church was given in Acts 2:42-47.
They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread, and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe, and many wonders and signs were being performed through the apostles. Now all the believers were together and held all things in common. They sold their possessions and property and distributed the proceeds to all, as any had need. Every day they devoted themselves to meeting together in the temple, and broke bread from house to house. They ate their food with joyful and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. Every day the Lord added to their number those who were being saved.
So you can find us praying together daily, worshipping with one another, sharing what we have and breaking bread together as often as possible.
